What makes DoseMate different from a normal reminder app?
Most apps assume the same dose every day. DoseMate is built for courses where the dose changes — going up, down, or holding over weeks. You set each phase once and we generate the full dated schedule and remind you before anything changes.
Is DoseMate free?
Yes. Free covers up to 5 active medications, unlimited phases, email reminders and 30 days of history — with no card required. Paid ($9.99/month or $99/year) adds SMS reminders, 20 medications, 12 months of history and PDF export.
How do reminders work?
You choose email (free) or SMS (Paid), and when you'd like to be reminded — at dose time or up to an hour before. You can also get a daily morning summary of everything due that day.
Are reminders guaranteed?
No — please don't rely on reminders alone for critical medication. Delivery can be delayed or fail for reasons outside our control: spam filtering, carrier delays, poor reception, an out-of-date phone number or email, and provider outages. Treat reminders as a helpful nudge, not a guarantee, and always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
Can I keep my medication private in text reminders?
Yes — Paid plans include a private SMS mode that hides medication names and doses, sending a neutral "time for your dose" message instead.
Does DoseMate give medical advice?
No. DoseMate is a personal tracking and reminder tool. It doesn't diagnose, prescribe or give medical advice — always follow the guidance of your doctor or pharmacist, and enter the schedule exactly as they've directed.
What happens to my data if I downgrade or leave?
Your data stays yours. Downgrading simply returns you to the Free limits without deleting anything. You can export your full history any time, or permanently delete your account from Settings.
Do I need to install anything?
No. DoseMate runs in your browser on any phone, tablet or computer. You can add it to your home screen for one-tap access if you like.
